Reporting a data error
Most issues people spot come from the underlying city dataset rather than this site, but we want to know either way. If you write in about a specific building, please include:
- The address, or the BBL shown at the top of the report.
- Which section is wrong (for example, "Violations").
- What it says now, and what it should say.
- A link to the source dataset if you have one.
If the source data itself is wrong, the right place to correct it is the publishing agency — HPD, DOF or DCP. We show what they publish.
Corrections and takedown requests
Every figure here is drawn from public records published by New York City. If you believe something on this site is inaccurate or should not be published, email us with the address and the specific concern, and we will look at it promptly.
Press
Journalists are welcome to cite figures from a report. Please link to the report page or to the source dataset, so readers can verify the number.
